Notes. This name is treated as a synonym of A. gerrardii subsp. negevensis by Chaudhary (1999) [Boulos (1995) treated it as synonymous with A. pachyceras var. najdensis]. Acacia iraqensis is recognized by Lock & Simpson (1991) as a distinct species but it is not in ILDIS (The International Legume Database & Information Service, Roskov et al. 2005); it is listed on The Plant List (http://www.theplantlist.org/) as an unresolved name.
