Acacia kerryana Maslin, Nuytsia 4: 105; 106, fig. 1 & 112, fig. 3 (1982)

Low, spreading, dense shrub 0.5- 1 m high. Branchlets flexuose towards apices, slightly ribbed, often sparsely antrorsely strigulose. Phyllodes sessile, decurrent, tortuous, terete, 8- 16 cm long, 0.4- 0.6 mm diam., with attenuate, often strongly curved apex, glabrous, with 8 distant, equal, raised nerves; gland inconspicuous, c. 4 cm above base. Inflorescences simple, 2 or 3 per axil; peduncles 6- 13 mm long, glabrous; heads obloid to short-cylindrical, 6- 9 mm long, 3- 4 mm diam., subdense, light golden. Flowers 4-merous; sepals united. Pods linear, twisted, to 8.5 cm long, 2 mm wide, chartaceous, glabrous. Seeds not seen.

Scattered distribution from near Kambalda S to L. Cronin and Norseman, W.A. Grows in shallow loam on low rocky hills in low open shrubland.
