Notes. Interpreted by Seigler et al. (2006: 58) as an illegitimate name, non Desv. (1814), however Desvaux's name is spelled Acacia microcantha, not micrantha. Hamilton, in Prodr. Pl. Ind. Occid. (1825: 60), spelled Desvaux's name as Acacia micrantha, but this irepresents an orthographic variant, and there is no justification of changing the spelling from that which Desvaux published.
