Notes. This record is the result of an error in the International Plant Name Index (IPNI). Kunth was not publishing a new name, but describing and illustrating Acacia peregrina (L.) Willd. IPNI gives the place of publication as "Mimos. Humb. 96. t. 30" but Kunth's description was previously published in Nov. Gen. Sp. 6: 217 (1823).
