Notes. Mueller had proposed this as a new species in his paper, however Bentham considered it to be conspecific with Acacia aulcocarpa and gave Mueller's name in synonymy under that species. In Flora Australiensis, Bentham admitted that he has been in error in equating the two species, and the name was validly published as Acacia leptophleba F.Muell. ex Benth.
