Notes. Listed as an Insufficiently Known species by both Ross (1979: 145) and Kyalangalilwa et al. (2013: 518). Ross (1979: 145) commented: "The description suggests that the [type] specimen Meisner saw was not an Acacia but, in the absence of a specimen, the identity of A. callicoma remains unknown.".
