Name Status. Accepted Name
Infra-generic Classification. Section Acacia (syn. Section Phyllodineae)
Classification. This species contains 2 infraspecific taxa ( subsp. aspera, subsp. parviceps)
Notes. Acacia aspera J.Forbes has been equated in IPNI with this taxon, and, as the earlier published name, given as the accepted name, with A. aspera Lindl. in synonymy. There is no evidence that A. aspera, a nomen nudum with a very brief description and no provenance or surviving specimens, represents the same taxon .
