Notes. In Acacia the correct name for this species is A. craibii because Nielsen (1980) could not adopt the epithet ‘siamensis’ as the combination was already occupied by A. siamensis Craib (see under V. harmandiana). However, in Vachellia the epithet is not pre-occupied and therefore the correct name for the species is V. siamensis. Fide Maslin et al. (2013: 43).
