Notes. Acacia campbellii was accepted by Sanjappa (1992), but Chakrabarty and Gangopadhyay (1996) and Kumar and Sane (2003) treated it as conspecific with Acacia (Vachellia) eburnea. Deshpande et al. (2019: 10) considered that it warranted recognition as a distinct species.
SYNONYMY
Notes. Acacia campbellii Arn. is included in ILDIS (The International Legume Database & Information Service, Roskov et al. 2005) as a synonym of both A. eburnea and A. karroo (the latter presumably in error).
